NMS Spelling Bee
Description
The PTA is excited to share that we will be coordinating this year's first annual NMS Spelling Bee for grades 3-5.
We are so excited to bring this event to NMS! We would love to send our top speller at NMS to the CT Regional Bee on March 8, 2026, so we’d like to complete the process before the December holiday break.
A few things to note:
- Study list by grade is provided (see email from class parents).
- There will be an OPTIONAL written test in class (sometime before 11/21). The top 2 students in each class will move onto the school-wide spelling bee on 12/17.
- Opting Out - The spelling bee is completely optional! If you do NOT want your child to participate, please email nmsptacopres@gmail.com w
