5th grade - Holiday International Feast
Description
The Annual International Feast will be held on Friday, December 20, 2024 at 1 pm to celebrate the season with our 5th graders. This event celebrates cultures from around the world, and our diverse community at North Mianus. The festivities will take place on the 2nd floor, in the 5th grade classrooms. All parents are welcome to join in the celebration.
We are asking families to make or buy ethnic food representing different cultures. Contributions can be main dishes, side dishes or desserts. Please pre-cut food into sample sizes and label dishes to include the type of dish and country of origin. If possible, please put all food on disposable dishes and/or platters.
Please be mindful of the following allergies in your food preparation: Tree nuts and sesame. If your item contains any of these ingredients, please be sure to write the content on a card, and attach it to your dish so that we may place these dishes on a separate table. We would like to make this a safe and enjoyable celebration for all of our children.
