Executive Functioning Parent Workshop
Please join us on Friday, November 17th at 9am in the Media Center for a NMS PTA Sponsored Event, featuring Dr. Fabian Boie, GPS District Psychologist and Behavior Support Team.
Dr. Boie will lead a parent workshop on Fostering Executive Functioning Skills and Responsibility in Children. Please complete the RSVP form to register for the workshop portion of the meeting.
Dr. Boie's interactive workshop will demonstrate and help you practice effective strategies that you can apply right away at home to enhance your children’s executive functioning skills and independence. After this session you will leave with:
- Tools that will help your children become more independent and responsible
- A set of evidence-based strategies that will enhance executive functioning skills in children
- Effective strategies to foster cooperation and avoid power struggles
Space is limited for this workshop, therefore a RSVP is required for you to attend. Registration will be on a first-come, first-served basis, and we will keep a waitlist if necessary. If the parent workshop is oversubscribed, Dr. Boie will work with us to schedule an additional workshop.
